Yugawara is located in the southernmost part of western Kanagawa Prefecture. With an abundance of high-quality natural hot springs, Yugawara is one of the oldest hot spring resorts in the Kanto region, and has been a favorite of travelers, writers, painters, and other cultural figures for more than 1,000 years. The Base Glamping Yugawara, Kanagawa Prefecture's first glamping facility, opened in this hot spring resort surrounded by the sea and mountains and close to Atami and Hakone, with all buildings offering hot spring baths with free-flowing hot-spring water.
