Kirishima Plateau National Recreation Area

Located in Makizono Town, Kirishima City, the campground has an area of about 300 sites, with free sites where you can pitch your tent wherever there is space available, including the main site with a spacious 800-meter perimeter, under a grove of trees, or on a hilltop overlooking the campground. Cottages, cabins, tent sites, and auto campsites are available to accommodate various styles of camping, depending on the number of people and members.
