Cucciaro Lakeside Campground

Located in Hamatombetsu-cho, Edasaki-gun, this is the northernmost Ramsar Convention-designated site in Japan, and a large campground has been developed along the shore of Lake Kutcharo, where 290 species of wild birds, including swans, can be observed. There are flush toilets, water facilities, and a coin-operated laundry, and luggage can be brought in easily, making it a good choice for campers who want to be surrounded by a rich natural environment.
