I started family camping in 2019 and visited Hokuto City several times. We liked the clean air and clean water and made it our regular camping area.
After camping many times, we wanted to do something more "new" and "closer to nature" instead of the usual camping, and we ended up in Birke.
There are still many unexplored areas here, and it is far from being a so-called high-standard campground. But I don't think there is a more blessed place to enjoy life in the wild, in the midst of inconvenience.
The experience of spending a night in the mountains in the dark, with no one else around, is something you cannot experience at any other campground.
I hope to make use of this campsite in the future as a private campsite!

I started camping because I wanted to immerse myself in nature. When I first started camping, I mainly visited campgrounds in the suburbs of Tokyo, but I was getting fed up with the large number of people and the difficulty of making reservations, when I happened to see an ad on the Birke website.
I was attracted by the idea of people who "truly enjoy nature" working together to create a campground, so I contacted Birke and asked to visit the site. Birke, nestled at the foot of the Kaikoma Mountains, is an ideal place to immerse oneself in nature, and I immediately asked to join. The owner does not have any detailed rules. As a person who is interested in bushcraft, this is a heavenly place where I can spend my time freely as long as I have "a respect for nature and this place.
Every time I go to this campground, it teaches me new camping styles and ways to enjoy nature, and I would like to continue to immerse myself in it.
