This outdoor facility is located in the Izu-Kogen villa area in Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.
The facility was built on land that had fallen into disrepair due to the lack of care for trees and plants, making it difficult for wild animals to live in harmony with their environment.
Although there are still some areas in need of repair and renovation, we have prepared a space where you can spend your time comfortably so that you can feel closer to animals and plants by spending time in nature in a casual manner.
Overlooking Mount Omuro, formed by volcanic eruptions, and surrounded by the lava-covered land of the Izu Peninsula and the trees and creatures it nurtures, we invite you to enjoy a unique moment of your own journey.
Tent sauna experience is available (90 min. ¥3,300~ elementary school students and older may try).
The area is also home to a supermarket, pharmacy, and home improvement center, where you can purchase food and items along the way, as well as enjoy delicious local foods such as seafood and dried fish.
Before/after checking in, there are large facilities nearby such as Shaboten Zoological Park and Guranparu Park, as well as a variety of workshops such as pottery making and glass workshops for children and adults to enjoy. In addition, there are many other great restaurants such as a delicious sandwich shop, an organic cafe, a Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy gibier cuisine, and a confectionary shop with excellent baumkuchen, which will satisfy both your heart and stomach.
