This off-grid campground was handcrafted for spending weekends and holidays in nature with your beloved dog. Enjoy quiet, relaxed, private time unlike what you'd experience at a typical campground where you rent a single plot.
Located just 1 to 2 hours from the Tokyo metropolitan area, it offers excellent access. The "Higashi-Tsukuba Hiking Course" to Mount Tsukuba, "Tsukuba-en" where you can enjoy fishing and BBQ, and "Tsukubane Auto Campground," which also hosts events like music festivals, are all within walking distance. You can also use it as a base for hiking, cycling, or trail running.
+++About the Environment+++ This is not a typical campground or vacation home area; it's part of a residential neighborhood. Please be considerate of the neighbors and keep things quiet at night. Pets are welcome, but the space is not fully fenced. Be careful, as energetic pets could fall over high walls or get lost in the bamboo groves. If you're concerned, please keep your pet on a leash.
+++Facilities+++ <Water> There is no running water. We provide a water tank holding approximately 20 liters. Water is available at a nearby park for refilling. There are no baths or showers, but the hot spring facility "Yurinosato" is nearby (5 minutes by car). <Toilet> A manual flush toilet is installed under the tree next to the entrance. Please use it. See the photos for details.
<Electricity> Solar panels provide power storage. Lighting is available inside the container house and the covered patio area, and USB charging is possible. <Parking> The gravel space at the entrance can accommodate about 3 cars and is accessible for RVs. <Campfire> A large campfire pit made from a drum can is provided. You are also welcome to bring your own campfire pit. Firewood in the patio area is free to use. While no fee is required, we appreciate any contribution placed in the donation box provided. You may also leave any leftover firewood behind. Note: Firewood in the patio area may not always be available, so please bring your own if planning a campfire. <Container House> There is space for multiple tents, but the container house is available for free overnight stays upon request. It features an IKEA couch bed large enough for two adults (please refrain from sleeping on the couch bed if you do not bring your own sleeping bag, blanket, sheets, etc.). Enjoy comfortable sleep with screens and fans in summer, and a cassette gas stove in winter. <Local Attractions> Local attractions Minpaku Tsukuba Dog House www.airbnb.com/h/tsukubadoghouse
